Daughter

It's official. My life has been forever altered.

At 02:49 a.m. on October 5th, 2006, my wife and I welcomed into the world our daughter, Alexandra Emery Ruth Grant. Delivered by Caesarian Section at 37 weeks, she weighed in at 7 lbs. and 14.9 ounces and measured 21.5 inches long. Both mom and daughter are doing well. If all goes well, both will be home by Sunday. Here's a picture of our little "Alex". More to be posted (check Flickr) as time permits.

Congratulations to you both! And what a BEAUTIFUL name! I love her so much already and I can't wait to hold her in my arms. I can already see those Grant genes are taking over since she is such a lengthy baby! And she has such cute rosy 'Tammy' cheeks.

I hope Tammy is recovering well and I can't wait to see you all!

Congratulations!!!! And Good Luck!!

Remember to sleep when Alexandra sleeps.

And take lots of pictures. They grow up incredibly fast. Loren will be 1 year old next month, and I cannot believe it has already been a year.

Bienvenue dans ce grand monde et donne pas trop de misère a tes parents...maman a besoin de se reposer et dans six semaines elle pourra te promener partout partout.

Congrats Tammy & Dave.
