The Dangers of Underage Drinking

I was out on my daily stroll with Rudy at about 8pm last night. While making our way down a desolate and poorly lit stretch of sidewalk along the main roadway, I stumbled upon a 3/4 full mickey of Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum laying on the sidewalk. Given that it was Saturday night, I assume that some local youth dropped it out of his pocket/backpack/pantleg while on his/her way to wherever they had intended to imbibe the contraband. It seems to be the most logical explanation. So I picked it up and dumped it out at the roadside, lest some minor come upon it.

Yet another fine example while those underage aren't responsible enough to drink. They aren't able to hold their liqour.

You jokester, you! Very cute.

However, did you ever stop to think that perhaps the bottle was filled with the post-processing of the rum? Sometimes nature calls at the worst times!

This is over a year old, but I was looking for pictures of Captain Morgan and came upon this.

This is pathetic.
It sort of makes me furious.
How exactly do you know it was from an teenager?
You just found it on the street.
You can't just assume it was from a younger person.
Why does it have to be a teenager?
Older people are clumsy too and can drop things just as easily as a teenager can.

You're making some annoying assumptions to justify your theory.

1. You jump right to the idea that it's young adults, getting liquor and not even being responsible enough to keep it in their possession, but leave it on the street.
2. You're assuming its from someone crazy enough to walk in a dangerous place late at night with loads of alcohol.
3. you assume that a teenager wanting to get wasted and succeeding in locating a source of alcohol, would be stupid enough to lose it.

and then to sum it up, you claim finding a bottle of liquor on the streets is proof "those underage aren't responsible enough to drink" when the fact of the matter is, you don't know how it got there. It could have been my gramma's and she was too wobbly to pick it up when it slipped from her shaky hands. and now grampa is going be to grumpy and unable to sleep.

Both cases are just as likely.
